Steve is a qualified social worker, level 7 coach and mentor, best interest assessor and level 3 safeguarding officer. Steve has worked across the UK in a variety of roles including Long Term Conditions Lead for East Midlands Strategic Health Authority, Head of Older People’s Mental Health Services (north east), National Dementia Strategy Implementation Manager for the Department of Health, National Dementia Lead with Priory Group and Associate Consultant with the University of Stirling Dementia Services Development Centre. Steve has vast experience working in care homes and community-based services, housing and health environments

My Story Matters
This Program can stand alone or be delivered alongside Value Based Leadership and Cultural Change (above). Aimed at care and support staff to develop thinking about their own extraordinary stories and how this can define their leadership role. This is an active fun session that gets participants active and learning together, seeking to develop the team and bring out leadership skills, attributes and qualities.
